How To Fix Golf Slice - Using Training Aids

Posted by Mohamed Sabry on July 25, 2010 at 5:17 AM

Large number of golf training aids are claiming that it can help you correct your slice in the golf game, most of them are useless when it comes to slice in golf.. To fix slice you need the right choice. How frustrating to get excited...buy a certain product in hopes it will help...and it doesn't?. Slice is one of the top golf swing problems.

I hear the above story daily. Actually several times a day! I am very amazed with the amount of money people spend on useless training aids that never solve the problem they promise to solve. These golf equipment companies are becoming master marketers.

Every golfer has hot buttons, and when they make another product they can easily push these buttons. When you watch their ads you become emotional then you will purchase whatever they offer you.

I hope you don't understand me wrong! There are many effective training aids out there, and a lot of these useful aids are effective to cure golf slice. But the number of good ones is a fraction of the sum total.

As a large percent of non professional golfers suffer the slice problem, slice products are a popular sector in the golf product development area. This is what makes golf companies do their best to develop new slice correcting product. This is similar to what happens in the fat loss market Praying on the weak and vulnerable.

With that being said...what tells you that the slice aid is useless or useful?

If you really want to cure your slice you will have to do some hard work! Seek for advice from your coach, your buddies who play with you, and if you can find a shop that allow you try the aid before you purchase it, it is better!

From my point of view slice in golf is easy to correct if you are serious about it. Many golf aids are good enough to correct golf slice. For the right handed player slight change in the grip to a strong left hand grip may correct the slice.

Lets go back to what you need to do!

Search for an aid which can get you to come from the inside, to do the opposite spin of a slice, and may enable you hitting a draw. In case you are a slicer, how cool would that be to start hitting a draw?

There are many of them out there, but I don't want to give any of these companies free advertising. Do some research...talk to golfing buddies and get a feel for which training aid you want to try. Save your money and decide what aid is right for you before buying not and don't depend only on ads.
